Tuxedo jackets
How to Choose a TuxedoArticles By Carl R. Ellison
Step 1- Look for the right tuxedo shirt.
You have two options for a tuxedo shirt: shirt with turndown collar or one with a wing. Shirts with turndown collars have softer, pleated front while shirts with wing collars have stiff, plain front. Make sure your shirt has a front bib construction, which can always be kept safely under the waistband.
Step 2- Choose the best trousers.
Step 3- Consider the event before choosing the tuxedo.
There are different styles of tuxedo and each of them varies according to their use or occasion where it is usually used. So, before choosing a tuxedo, consider the event where you are going to avoid being out of place.
Step 4- Choose proper jacket.
Since most formal events are held indoors, choose a tuxedo jacket made of light-weighted fabrics. Light fabrics help you stay cool. As for the color, midnight blue or black is the safest choice. Remember, light colors just look good in summer season. In terms of style, single and double breasted dinner jackets are appropriate for any formal and special occasion. Don't forget to look for a jacket that compliments your face. So, if you have a round face, avoid wearing jacket with shawl lapels.
